Accounts Technician
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Technician to join our growing business. This role would ideally suit someone looking to pursue a career in accounting and business advisory. Previous experience isn’t necessary as full training will be provided as well as options to obtaining your accounting qualifications.
In this trainee role you’ll provide valuable assistance on a wide variety of accounting services to ensure deadlines are met and that we deliver customer excellence to our clients. Responsibilities include communicating proactively with clients, assisting the accountants in preparing financial statements, tax returns, management accounts, correspondence, other documents and bookkeeping support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly effective relationship management skills
- Emotional intelligence and awareness
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Planning and organisational skills
- High degree of accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail
- Adherence to internal procedures
- Client or customer-facing experience (ideal but not essential)
- Education to graduate or A-Level standard
This is a full-time role, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility. Primarily office-based with optional hybrid working up to max 2 days per week after initial training complete.
Salary range £24.5K – £27.6K depending on qualifications and experience.
